South Indian beauty Shruti Haasan will star in Milan Luthria's upcoming flick "Baadshaho" opposite Ajay Devgn.
Haasan, who has appeared with Akshay Kumar in "Gabbar Is Back", will star opposite the "Singham" actor for the first time.
However, the buzz is that Luthria wants Shruti to undergo a makeover for this film. He had given makeovers to Vidya Balan for "The Dirty Picture" and Ajay for "Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai".
"Baadshaho" is slated to release on Independence Day next year. One more leading actress will reportedly be cast in the flick. This flick is a joint production of Luthria and Bhushan Kumar.
Meanwhile, both Shruti and Ajay are busy promoting their upcoming flicks. Devgn's "Drishyam" is set to release on 31 July. It is the remake of the Malayalam version, which has the same title. The Malayalam film featured Mohanlal and Meena in the lead roles. The Tamil remake, "Papanasam", starring Kamal Haasan and Gauthami, opened to positive reviews recenly.
On the other hand, Kamal Haasan's daughter is busy promoting her upcoming Bollywood flick "Welcome Back".
Produced by Firoz A Nadiadwallah, John Abraham and Shruti Haasan's film is slated to be released on 4 September.
