It was earlier reported that Shruti Haasan, who is a fast-growing star actress, was approached by AR Murugadoss for his next movie.
Now, sources close to Shruti Haasan have denied the rumours and said that there is no truth to the story. It was widely reported that the actress was approached a few months ago and she had agreed to work with Mahesh Babu and AR Murugadoss.
In Telugu media, it was highly speculated that Shruti Haasan had given her consent to act in the untitled movie. It may be recalled that Shruti Haasan had earlier worked with Mahesh Babu in Telugu movie "Srimanthudu" and with AR Murugadoss in "7aum Arivu".
Shruti Haasan is one of the most sought after actresses these days. She is juggling between South Indian film industry and Bollywood. The 29-year-old has already worked with big names like Surya, Pawan Kalyan, Ravi Teja, Ram Charan Teja, Allu Arjun, Vijay, Ajith and Dhanush.
Her upcoming movies are "Vedalam", starring Ajith, "Singham 3" with Surya, Hindi films like "Yaara" and "Rocky Handsome".
Coming back to AR Murugadoss' movie, neither the director nor the actor have confirmed the news as yet. However, there is a strong buzz of this Jodi joining hands for the first time. It is said to be a bilingual movie made with a huge budget.
Currently, AR Murugadoss is busy with "Akira", which is a remake of Tamil movie "Mouna Guru", starring Sonakshi Sinha. On the other end, Mahesh Babu is busy with "Brahmotsavam", which is simultaneously being made in Tamil and Telugu languages.
The forthcoming movie is expected to take off in 2016.
