After his successful association with Gautham Menon movie, Ajith is now getting ready for his next movie, which is currently identified as "Thala 56". Like his previous movie, which had two heroines Trisha Krishnan and Anushka Shetty, we hear that his next flick too will have two heroines in lead roles opposite Ajith.
Rumours suggest that the makers have zeroed in on Shruti Haasan and Bindu Madhavi to play the lead roles, but no confirmation regarding this has come from film sources or the actresses.
Meanwhile, Shruti has series of movies in Bollywood as well as in Tamil and Telugu in her kitty. The actress will be seen opposite Akshay Kumar's "Gabbar", John Abraham's "Rocky Handsome" and "Welcome Back" and opposite Vidyut Jammwal in "Yaara". She will also be seen in Tamil movie "Puli" opposite Vijay and an untitled Telugu movie starring Mahesh Babu.
Bindu Madhavi is awaiting release of four Tamil films this year, including "Tamiluku En Pndrai Aluthavum", "Kalukkuray Maaplay", "Savaale Samaali" and an untitled movie directed by Pandiraj.
Rumour mills also suggest that two sizzling ladies of Tamil cinema, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Hansika Motwani, also approached for the roles.
Earlier it was announced that the shooting of "Thala56" will kick-start soon after the release of "Yennai Arindhaal". Now the latest we hear is that "Thala 56' will kick-start only by mid-April. Apparently, Ajith has taken a break from movies to spend time with his family and also to take care of his pregnant wife Shalini.
"Thala 56" is directed by Siruthai Siva who had previously directed Ajith's 2014 movie "Veeram". The movie is reportedly a metro-centric flick where Ajith would be seen in a complete new look. The film is produced by AM Rathnam, who bankrolled the actor's "Arrambam" and "Yennai Arindhaal".
