Rumours were rife that Shriya Saran has found her soulmate and would marry her Russian boyfriend in March. Now, she has issued a clarification.
Speaking to The Times of India, Shriya Saran has denied the reports and said, "It's false, I'm not getting married." Her mother has further explained that she is going to attend a few marriages in Rajasthan and ordered jewellery, which might have triggered rumours about her wedding.
"No, it's all rumours that keep resurfacing. She has to attend her friend's wedding in Rajasthan and had ordered clothes and jewellery for it. In fact, she has to attend both, a relative's and a friend's wedding this month in March. That's probably why this has gone viral," the daily quoted Neeraja Saran as saying.
Earlier, Mumbai Mirror had reported that Shriya Saran was in Russia to meet the family of her beau and the couple had chosen Rajasthan as their wedding destination.
On the professional front, Shriya Saran is gearing up for the release of her next movie Gayathri in which she has teamed up with Vishnu Manchu and Mohan Babu. She is also working on Karthick Naren-directorial Naragasooran in which Arvind Swamy plays the lead.
Shriya Saran is also part of Nana Patekar's Tadka, a remake of Malayalam hit film Salt and Pepper and Telugu flick Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayalu.
