When Shah Rukh Khan tried to avoid a clash between his movie Raees and Salman Khan's Sultan, he ended up locking horns with Hrithik Roshan's Kaabil. It looks like Shraddha Kapoor is following the similar path with her movie, Haseena Parkar: The Queen Of Bombay.
The movie was earlier planned to be released on July 14, but Arjun Kapoor's Mubarakan is also scheduled for release on the same day. So to avoid the clash, the makers of Haseena have postponed the date and it is now getting released on August 18.
Shraddha tried to avoid a clash with Arjun, but now she will lock horns with Kriti Sanon. The Raabta actress' movie Bareilly Ki Barfi will also be out on the same date.
"Director Apoorva Lakhia and producer Nahid Khan called for a meeting on Sunday night to discuss the promotional strategy of the film. Earlier, it was supposed to clash with Jagga Jasoos, and Saif Ali Khan's Chef on July 14," DNA quoted a source as saying.
"Jagga moved to a solo release window of July 28, while Chef was postponed to October. However, Mubarakan will now hit screens on July 14. These days, it's difficult to find a weekend with no other film scheduled for release, but the producers of Haseena have decided to postpone the release," the source added.
Now, it will be interesting to see who will win the battle at the box office – Tiger Shroff's Heropanti co-star Kriti or Baaghi co-star Shraddha? Share your views in the comment box below.
