The shooting of Malayalam movie "Ivide" starring Prithviraj, Bhavana and Nivin Pauly and directed by Shyamaparasad is currently progressing at a fast pace. The movie, which is touted as a crime thriller is shot completely in USA and will have its major crew from international circuits.
The story of "Ivide" is based on the serial killing of IT techies in major US cities and Prithviraj will play the role of a cop of Indian origin in the Atlanta police department. The film has majority of its cast from the US, while Aju Varghese and YG Mahendra will play pivotal roles in it.
Keeping in consideration the US actors' inconvenience in dubbing, the film will be shot in sync sound like Shyamaprasad's previous movies "Arike", "English" and "Artist".
The scripting of the upcoming crime thriller is done by Ajayan Venugopal and the film is said to be one of the costliest Malayalam films in recent times.
At present Prithviraj and Bhavana have joined the crew for the shooting and Nivin Pauly is yet to join the sets as he is busy with shooting of upcoming movie "Oru Vadakkan Selfie".
Meanwhile, Nivin had earlier worked with Shyamaprasad for the 2013 film "English: An Autumn in London". The film was also scripted by Ajayan and received good reviews from critics.
Prithviraj had worked with "Ritu" director for the highly noticed film "Akale" in 2004. This film received many prestigious awards, including National Awards, Kerala State Awards and Filmfare Awards South.
"Ivide" is produced by Dr S Sajikumar under the banner of Dharmik Films.
