The shooting of the much-awaited Vineeth Sreenivasan film, "Ormayundo Ee Mukham", begins in Kochi.
The film is scripted and directed by debutant Anvar Sadik. It will also star Namitha Pramod and Aju Varghese in pivotal roles. The pooja function of the film was held at 9:30 am at Anjumana Devi Temple at Kochi.
"Ormayundo Ee Mukham" is said to be a musical romantic comedy. The music will be composed by Shaan Rahman and is said to have a total of five songs and a theme song. Shaan had earlier composed music for Vineeth Sreenivasan's directorial films like "Malarvaadi Arts Club", "Thattathin Maraythu" and "Thira".
Vineeth, son of popular Malayalam film-maker and actor Sreenivasan, is popular as a singer, actor, director and a script-writer.
He began his acting career with Malayalam film "Cycle" in 2008. Later, he went on to do important roles in films like "Makante Achan", "Traffic", "Chappa Kurishu", "Padmashree Bharat Dr Saroj Kumar" and "Om Shanthi Osana".
Meanwhile, actress Namitha Pramod is all set to be the next big name in the industry. She already has hits like "Traffic", "Sound Thoma", "Pullipulikalum Aattinkuttikalum" and "Vikramadithyan" in her hand. She has wrapped up the shooting of "Villali Veeran" opposite Dileep. It is slated to release for this Onam.
Vineeth and Namitha have earlier worked for "Traffic", but have not shared the screen space. This is for the first time both are paired up for a film.
It will also see yesteryear actress Lakshmi making a comeback in Malayalam. She will play the role of a funny and a very likeable grandmother. It will also see television anchor Soumya Sadanandan popularly known as Sou in her television show "Film Lounge" for Kappa TV. She will play sister to Namitha Pramod.
"Ormayundo Ee Mukham" will also be shot in Bangalore and is jointly produced by RJ Creations and Blue planet. The film is slated to release in November this year.
