Kamal Haasan's upcoming Tamil-Telugu bilingual flick "Thoongavanam" has been a topic of discussion ever since it was announced. The first look poster of the movie was released recently and the latest we hear is that the shooting of the film will be wrapped up in July.
"The team is currently shooting in a specially erected set on East Coast Road in Chennai. More than half of the shooting is already done and at this rate, the film should be wrapped up by next month," a source from the film's unit told IANS.
The upcoming movie, being directed by Rajesh N Selva, is the official remake of French film "Sleepless Night" and rumours suggest the bilingual film will hit screens by December.
Kamal will be seen as a police officer in "Thoongaavanam", which is touted to be a stylish thriller that unfolds in a single night. Prakash Raj will reportedly be seen as his partner.
The film has Trisha as the lead heroine opposite Kamal in ultra-glamorous looks, say reports. The movie also has Asha Sharath, Uma Riaz Khan and Kishore in pivotal roles.
Ghibran is the music composer of the upcoming movie. He had earlier composed music for Kamal films "Uttama Villian" and "Papanasam".
