Indian shooter and Olympic gold medalist Abhinav Bindra announced his retirement on Monday via Twitter.
Bindra, who claimed gold in the 10m Air Rifle at Beijing 2008, will end his professional shooting career at the Incheon Asian Games on Tuesday, where he will compete for the country one last time.
However, the 32-year-old added that he might look to compete at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
Tomorrow will mark the end of my professional shooting life ! I will however still shoot , compete as a hobby shooter training twice a week.

Bindra has won several international events, bringing laurels to the country. He became the first Indian to win an individual gold medal at the Olympics, the first Indian to hold both the World and Olympic titles at the same time, along with Commonwealth Games title.
Bindra also won gold in the 10m Air Rifle at Glasgow 2014 recently, where he had announced that it would be his last participation in the Commonwealth Games.
Bindra had bagged silver in the 10m air rifle team event at the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games. However, the ace shooter has never won a singles gold at the Asiad, and will now look to complete this feat before retirement.
