Sidharth Malhotra's shocking status on Twitter has left everyone zapped. The actor tweeted: "sorry iam done !" [sic.] a while back and removed his profile picture. It's a total blackout on Mr. Malhotra's Twitter profile.
We wonder what pushed him to do so? Is it because of Alia Bhatt? Or is this a publicity stunt for his next film Aiyaary? Considering his last film Ittefaq worked well at the box-office, why would Sidharth apologise on social media?
He has gone blank on Instagram as well.
Just a few days back, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra and Karan Johar were spotted attending Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla's pre-Christmas celebrations.
In a report by PTI, Sidharth Malhotra recently revealed that he missed out on an opportunity to share the screen with Salman in 'Race 3' due to date issues.
The report quoted him saying, "There were talks earlier and nothing really culminated. Now they have done their casting. I know Ramesh Taurani and Salman Khan and they are wonderful people to work with. Maybe (I will work with them) in the future if not this."
"There were no creative differences. There were other things on my plate, so, I couldn't shift things around to do that film. There was a time limitation, they are starting shoot right now and I couldn't do it. So we couldn't go ahead with it. It would have been great to share the screen space with Salman," he added.
We hope Sidharth issues a clarification soon on this.
