Shivarajkumar, who is basking on the huge success of his recent release "Bhajarangi", has reportedly suffered head injuries on the set of his upcoming film "Aryan" in Singapore. While the incident stalled the filming of the much hyped film, the actor is said to be out of danger.
Shivarajkumar was shooting a cycle chase action scene under the direction of stunt master Ganesh when the mishap happened. He was performing this stunt without a body double.
Director Chi Guru Dutt hasn't made any statement about the incident
This is not the first time the shooting of the movie has been halted. Previously, the film was stalled when director D Rajendra Babu died of a heart-attack, after which Dutt took matters into his hands.
The shooting for "Aryan" began on 24 April 2013, coinciding with the birthday of Shivarajkumar's late father and Kannada cinema's most celebrated actor Rajkumar.
"Aryan" is touted to be a sports drama film with lots of emotions and love for the country. Ramya, Sarath Babu, Bullet Prakash, Vinaya Prasad and Archana Gupta form the cast of the film. The music is composed by Jassie Gift, while Chandrashekar has handled the cinematography for the film. Dreamweaver Entertainment will distribute the film.
While the film was scheduled to release in March 2014, Shivarajkumar's accident has raised questions on when the film wil be completed.
"Aryan" has been shot in different locations of Singapore, including the gardens by the Bay.
