This is a rare attempt by a celebrity in India to launch a dedicated website for a wedding. This has also helped the media to cover the event extensively.

The marriage of Nirupama will be held on 31 August.On the same day, the wedding reception will be at Palace Grounds. Both the marriage and the reception are expected to be graced by the who's who of Indian film industry.

Probable guests for the marriage and reception include Tamil superstar Rajinikanth, Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan and Telugu Megastar Chiranjeevi. From Sandalwood, Real Star Upendra, Kiccha Sudeep, Darshan and many others are expected to attend the function.

Prior to the wedding, the couple will have traditional customs such as mehndi (30 August), Chappara Pooje, Yenne Neeru and Vara Pooje (31 August).

Twenty-seven-year old Nirupama, and the groom Dileep, who hails from Mandya, know each other for eight years. They studied medicine together and fell in love a few years ago. Both the families have happily approved their relationship.
