Ajay Devgn is collaborating with British band The Vamps to counter the popularity of the songs of Karan Johar's "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil," which is hitting screens on the same day as his "Shivaay." The title song "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" has become an instant hit, prompting Ajay to take suitable measures to up the ante.
The upcoming box office clash between "Shivaay" and "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" has become the talk of the town ever since the release dates of the two films were announced. While Ajay's film is a high-octane action movie, Karan Johar's directorial venture, "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil," is a romantic drama dealing with complicated relationships.
Songs are believed to play an important role in a film's promotions and thus, Ajay has joined hands with one of the most popular British rock bands for the film's music. After the teaser, the title track of "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" is becoming a rage and has made the film one of the most awaited ones.
On the other side, the trailer of "Shivaay" had already impressed fans and Ajay is leaving no stone unturned to win this box office battle. The title song of "Shivaay" will be released on Sept. 11 and it is most likely that the collaboration with The Vamps is for the same track.
"Shivaay," Ajay's most ambitious project, is also one of the most expensive Bollywood movies. Directed by Ajay himself, "Shivaay" will present the actor romancing debutant Sayyeshaa Saigal. The film also features Polish actress Erika Kaar.
"Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" has brought Karan Johar back on the director's seat. The film features Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anushka Sharma and Fawad Khan.
