Shauna Sexton responds to accusations blaming her for Ben Affleck's return to rehab

Ben Affleck is currently getting a proper treatment for his alcohol addiction. The Justice League movie actor reportedly had a drinking problem for quite some time for which he took proper treatments in the past. Recently, Playboy model and Ben's rumored flame, Shauna Sexton, was accused that she contributed to Ben Affleck's recent relapse.

After ending his 10-year long marriage with Jennifer Garner, Ben Affleck started dating former SNL producer Lindsay Shookus, However, amid the news that he and Shookus had called it quits after one year of dating, he was spotted with the Playboy model Shauna Sexton. Recently, she hit back at a fan on Instagram who openly accused her of getting Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice movie star "thrown into rehab."

The entire conversation began when a fan openly suggested on Instagram that Sexton had gotten Argo movie star "thrown into rehab." For which, Sexton responded that she never drank around or with him for the record. She was then hit back by the accusation that she had been arrested twice for "underage drinking and public intoxication just last year."

"I love to drink and party! Absolutely dude. Most 22 year olds do," Sexton acknowledged. "Yes you're correct. I got put in the drunk tank when I was 17 for having a fake ID and drinking underage at a bar in Virginia Beach, and despite the fact most people have used a fake ID as well as drank underage, it was a dumb mistake on my behalf and an embarrassing one at that. Then the weekend of my 21st birthday I got obliterated and wound up getting left at a bar at the ocean front in Virginia Beach... where I was again taken to the drunk tank for being intoxicated publicly ..while attempting to find a ride home."

Sexton further added that Ben Affleck is a grown man and makes his own decisions. It is also ridiculous to blame her for someone's third visit to rehabilitation. She added that "Don't be so quick to throw shade on people. Take a step back, accept that we are all on our own journey, and be a little less critical."

After Sexton's reply was appreciated by her fans, the commenter backtracked and wrote that he was wrong for blaming her as she "didn't hand him the bottle."

Ben Affleck checked into rehab on August 22 after Jennifer Garner held an intervention at his Pacific Palisades home.
