Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan's much anticipated film "Shamitabh" has finally released the trailer.
Big B, who has earlier worked with R Balki in "Cheeni Kum" and "Paa", has teamed with the talented director once again in "Shamitabh".
The trailer looks impressive as Bhalki, who is known for portraying unique characters in his films, has once again played with the megastar's look, who plays an alcoholic in the film.
The film has south star Dhanush in the lead and marks the debut of Kamal Hasaan's daughter Akshara Haasan.
Going by the trailer, it appears like the film revolves around Dhanush, who starts from scratch to become a star actor with support from Bachchan.
The trailer doesn't reveal more about the storyline expect for the title, which is a mixture of two names. "Sh" in "Shamitabh" is the last two letters of Dhanush's name followed by Big B's name. Even in one of the scenes, the actor says, "It's not picture, it's mixture."
With two superstars sharing screen space, it is no wonder the film will be a treat to their millions of fans. Additionally, the unique title alone has increased the curiosity among the public. The video has already crossed over three lakh views within a day of being released.
Produced by Hope Production and music composed by Ilaiyaraaja, "Shamitabh" is all set to release on 6 February 2015.
Besides "Shamitabh", Sr.Bachchan will also feature in "Wazir", in which he plays an ailing wheel-chair stricken chess master. The film also has Farhan Akhtar in important role.
