Actress Shruti Haasan, who has six films in her kitty this year, has expressed the excitement on her sister Akshara Haasan's debut film.
Akshara marks her acting debut in R Balki directorial "Shamitabh", which has megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Tamil superstar Dhanush in the lead roles. The film is set to hit the screens on 6 February.
"I like the 'Shamitabh' trailer very much. I am very excited for the whole team, especially for my sister Akshara. I'm very proud of her and I wish the whole team all the best," Shruti said, according to IANS.
Shruti, daughter of Kamal Haasan, will be next seen in four Bollywood films and one each in Tamil and Telugu. She will play the lead role opposite Akshay Kumar in "Gabbar", with John Abraham in "Rocky Handsome" and "Welcome Back" and opposite Vidyut Jammwal in "Yaara". She will also be working with Vijay and Mahesh Babu in untitled Tamil and Telugu films.
Recently, the actress also appeared in a song with Arjun Kapoor in the upcoming film "Tevar", which has Sonakshi Sinha as female lead. The actress also sang the track, "Joganiyan", in the film.
