The official trailer of "Shamitabh", which was released on YouTube on 6 January, has received an overwhelming response from viewers across the globe. The film, which stars Amitabh Bachchan, Dhanush and Akshara Haasan in the lead is set to hit the screens on 6 February.
When asked for her comments, Big B's daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, during a recent L'Oreal product launch event, praised the trailer by saying, "I think it is incredible, the idea is fascinating and I know more than that is being revealed on the trailer and am very very excited to see this and hope you all are too."
The performances of Amitabh Bachchan, Dhanush, background score by Ilaiyaraaja, Sreeram's brilliant camera work and punch dialogues are said to the major highlights of the R Balki directorial.
Other celebs, including Ritiesh Deshmukh, Radhika Sarathkumar, Resul Pookutty and many others have also lauded the 2.08-minute trailer, which reveals little about the storyline.
