Shamili has reportedly done her first lip-lock scene in films. The actress has shot a kissing scene with Vikram Prabhu in her upcoming Tamil movie, "Veera Sivaji."
The sequence is said to have come out well. Initially, the actress, who is making her comeback to Kollywood with "Veera Sivaji," was not willing to be part of the scene. But the director convinced her about the importance of the shot in the story.
Also, Shamili is a good friend of Vikram Prabhu's sister and this was another reason for her hesitation about doing the sequence, say reports. However, the sister-in-law of Thala Ajith decided to shed her inhibition after understanding the significance of the shot in the storyline.
"Veera Sivaji" is a commercial family entertainer, which deals with crime, politics, ambition and social justice. Vikram Prabhu plays a brave cab driver, who protects people from a deadly villain. The film, written and directed by Ganesh Vinayak, stars John Vijay, Swetha Ashok, Rajendran, Robo Shankar, Yogi Babu, Venkat and others.
The Tamil movie features D Imman's music, M Sukumar's cinematography and Ruben's editing. S Nandagopal has produced "Veera Sivaji," which is distributed by Sri Thenandal Films.
"Veera Sivaji" will be released worldwide on Sept. 23.
