Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan who is well known for his gift of witty one liners has let loose his funny side yet again.
During a recent media event, the romance King was asked several questions with respect to his professional and personal achievements. The star answered most of the questions in good humour and looked comfortable doing so.
On being asked to emulate the famous dialogue from Yash Chopra's "Jab Tak Hain Jaan," the actor got into a playful flirting with the journalist. He suggested they should meet up elsewhere probably in a lift. The star then immediately added a punch line and said, "No... no you are a journalist, not in a lift," and started laughing reported Mid Day.
Shahrukh's direct jibe at Tehelka founder Tarun Tejpal's 'untoward incident' did not go unnoticed. A section of the audience appeared shaken with sudden reference to the controversial issue but eventually gave into the star's charisma and laughed at it.
Stretching the joke further, he said that now singer Adnan Sami's popular track "Lift Kara De" has an entirely new meaning.
The "Chennai Express" actor was also seen bonding with contemporary Aamir Khan in course of the event. Even though the friendship between the stalwarts is a rare possibility, the two stars incidentally guests for the same event, apparently shared the same cab.
Aamir invited SRK to join his special cab, Sakha cabs run by underprivileged women and the latter gladly accepted. The duo was seen gladly chatting on their way to their respective hotels in the capital city.
