Shahid Kapoor recently confirmed he will get married in December, but the "Haider" star did not reveal the name of the lucky lady. However, several conjectures suggest that the mystery woman is Mira Rajput, an English Literature student from Delhi.
According to reports, since the family of the to-be-bride doesn't belong to the film fraternity, they are trying their best to keep the news of engagement/marriage under wraps.
"Mira is a college student and her parents have been getting tense about her engagement with Shahid going public. She had confided in a few friends about dating the actor, but one of them may have leaked it to the media. She is upset about it and unfriending some of them from her online account," a source said, Mid Day reports.
Since there has been no further official confirmation on Shahid's marriage details, this can be counted as a speculation.
Interestingly, a few days ago a friend of Mira's told India Today that she wasn't dating the suave sta,r adding that they were just good friends. "Mira has clearly said that she isn't dating or getting married to Shahid Kapoor, who is elder to her by 13 years. She did say, though, that Shahid is a family friend," the friend had said.
It has also been reported that the parents of the two met through a spiritual group, Radha Soami Satsang Beas. In other news, Mira studies at Lady Shri Ram College (Delhi University) and has completed her schooling from Vasant Valley School.
Shahid will next be seen in Vikas Bahl's "Shandaar" and Abhishek Chaubey's "Udta Punjab", alongside Alia Bhatt.
