Vishal Bharadwaj seems to have done the impossible. The ace director has reportedly roped in Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan in an untitled film.
Interestingly, the two actors have given a cold shoulder to each other until now as Kareena Kapoor Khan, wife of Saif, is Shahid's ex-girlfriend.
It seems like the Bollywood actors are ready to let go of their differences for the sake of a good script.
Vishal was eager to kickstart the remake of "The Departed", starring Hrithik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut, but had to postpone it due to the lead actors' busy schedule.
The delay has made the "Haider" director plan another project, in which he has decided to cast his favourite actor Shahid.
The "Haider" actor recently wrapped up Vikas Bahl's "Shandaar" and has started shooting for "Udta Punjab", after which he will begin with "Magadheera" remake.
With this hectic schedule, Vishal's film is expected to go on floors in early 2016, post Shahid's wedding.
Meanwhile, Saif will also wrap up Sujoy Ghosh's Bollywood adaptation of "The Devotion of Suspect X" before he allots his dates to Vishal.
There were also rumours that Shahid-Saif starrer is an adaptation Shakespeare's drama "King Lear".
However, it has been learnt that the film is not an adaptation, but an intense love story. "It's not an adaptation of any film. Rather, it is an intense love story," a source told DNA.
After this interesting revelation, it now remains to be seen if Vishal manages to bring Kareena on-board as well.
