Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput tied the knot last year on July 7 and the couple celebrates their first wedding anniversary on Thursday. The duo will become parents soon and Mira is currently in the hospital. Thus, the couple is celebrating their anniversary in the hospital.
The star wife is admitted to the hospital for regular check-ups. Shahid has been visiting her every day and it is said that the hunk has arranged a small celebration of their anniversary in the hospital itself. "Special food and everything favourite of Mira has been arranged. Few close friends of the couple are expected to arrive. Shahid has arranged everything well planned," a source told Business of Cinema.The report suggests that Mira will soon be discharged.
The couple got married in Delhi and it was attended by close family members and friends. However, they had hosted a grand reception in Mumbai after a few days and it was graced by several Bollywood bigwigs, including Kangana Ranaut, Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh and Sonam Kapoor.
The couple is expecting their first child in September. Shahid has currently taken a break from films as he has not signed any project after "Rangoon." Vishal Bhardwaj's directorial has been wrapped up and is set to be released next year.
