Shah Rukh and Salman are set to take their rivalry to another level. After giving competition at the box office, the two Bollywood superstars will now take on each other on the small screen.
According to latest reports, Shah Rukh might replace Salman as the host of the seventh season of the most controversial reality show on Indian television, "Bigg Boss".
Salman has been hosting the reality show for the past three years and has made it a very popular show. But this year, his fans might not be able to see him on television.
Grapevine has it that Salman might not be able to host the seventh season of the reality show. The actor is busy shooting for his film "Mental" and might have opted out of the show due to his health check-ups.
The show's producers might approach SRK to maintain the popularity and TRPs of the show, according to The Times of India.
Shah Rukh had earlier hosted the third season of "Kaun Banega Crorepati", which was initially hosted by megastar Amitabh Bachchan.
If the rumours turn out to be true, then Salman's fans will be in for a shock since there may be no films of his releasing this year too. The release date of "Mental" directed by Sohail Khan has been delayed and it is set to hit the screens next year around mid-January.
Earlier this month, SRK announced that his upcoming rom-com is set to release this year during Eid, which is generally Salman's slot for releasing his films.
