Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is leaving no stone unturned to put his upcoming film "Happy New Year" in the spotlight.
The actor is now attempting to score over his contemporaries by having the most expensive Bollywood song in "HNY".
Recently Aamir Khan's "Dhoom 3" song "Malang" set the record of being the most expensive song in the Bollywood. The song, which featured dancers and acrobats flown from outside, burned the YRF pockets with a sum of ₹5 crore. The grand, colourful song was a visual delight and proved to be the film's USP in promotions.
Now, it seems SRK has been inspired from the idea and has planned a similar, costlier song in "HNY".
Reports have hinted that the 48-year-old has planned a lavish song for "HNY" which will prove quite a show for the audience. The budget of the number is expected to skyrocket to a sum of ₹7 crore. The high-end song will feature the actor himself, along with Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan and the remaining cast.
"HNY" is Shah Rukh's home production, and the actor is keen to ensure the film hogs maximum limelight. And with such a lavish song, it's only natural that the actor's fans would be in for a delight.
Previously, Shah Rukh-Farah Khan team's "Om Shanti Om" (2007) title song, which featured 30 major Bollywood faces, became a rage and drew interest from a large section of the audience, due to its starry factor.
Meanwhile, "HNY", which is set for a Diwali release, is expected to reveal the film's first teaser during the upcoming Indian Premiere League (IPL) 7.
