Shah Rukh Khan's latest release Zero failed to impress the audience and is almost on the verge of dying at the box office. But SRK fans need not be disheartened as the actor has an interesting line-up of upcoming movies.
Although Zero did not match up to the expectations, Shah Rukh has two more much ambitious projects in coming days. He will be seen playing two completely different avatars in his forthcoming movies Salute and Don 3.
Salute, formerly titled as Saare Jahan Se Accha, is a biopic on astronaut Rakesh Sharma. Shah Rukh will be playing the lead role in the movie, shooting for which is likely to start soon.
On the other side, the superstar and Farhan Akhtar have also reportedly chalked out a plan for the making of Don 3. "Farhan will finish a film written by Anjum Rajabali and then start Don 3. The scripting has been taking place for the past 18 months," Deccan Chronicle quoted a source as saying.
The Don series has been one of the most successful franchises, and it will yet again showcase the King Khan in the stylish avatar of the gangster. So, Shah Rukh has two completely varied but promising upcoming movies, which are potent enough to lift up the actor's falling career graph.
Meanwhile, Zero that also features Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma had started off the box office journey with below expected numbers but the collection completely dipped post-Christmas. It is likely to wrap up its domestic box office earning somewhere around Rs 100 crore. The movie was made with a budget of Rs 200 crore.
