While fans will not see Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan clashing any time soon, as they have sorted out their differences and become friends again, their movies will battle it out at the box office next year.
During a recent event, King Khan was asked about his film "Raees" which is releasing with Salman's "Sultan" on Eid 2016. The actor, who is known for his witty statements, replied, "We have now become friends, so we will do everything together. For you all it is clash, but not for us. We both are going to do well then. There might be a business clash but there will be equal profit for us," reported NDTV.
Earlier, SRK also took to twitter to promote the first look of Salman's "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" along with Aamir Khan. The "Dabangg" actor had thanked both the Khans for this gesture.
"I liked the poster so I promoted it. I liked Salman's lips on the poster and he is looking very cool. I saw the trailer, I liked it as well," SRK said, when asked about it.
Often, filmmakers avoid releasing big films together so that they do not eat into the other movies' popularity.
In 2006, Shah Rukh's "Don" clashed with Salman's "Jaan-E-Mann". But "Don" turned out to be a bigger hit than "Jaan-E-Mann".
So who will rule the box office next year? Will it be SRK with "Raees" or Salman with "Sultan"? Only time will tell.
