Yash Raj Films production that has delivered some superhits with Shah Rukh Khan, will reportedly launch the superstar's son Aryan in their popular "Dhoom" franchise.

The chief of YRF, Aditya Chopra, is reportedly planning to feature Aryan in "Dhoom 6". The action film, which will be co-produced by Shah Rukh, is likely to go on floors once Aryan, who is celebrating his 17th birthday on 13 November, turns 21 and is ready to take up his career seriously.

"Aditya is planning to launch Aryan with Dhoom 6, which is likely to be co-produced by SRK," says a source. But, we have been told that work on the film will take a few years. "Since Shah Rukh is very particular about his kids' education, the film is likely to take off when Aryan turns 21 and he is done with his studies," a source told Hindustan Times.

Interestingly, Shah Rukh, who has never worked with YRF's "Dhoom" series, has recently expressed his desire to work in "Dhoom 4". "If I get an opportunity, I would love to do Dhoom. I find it very cool. I knew Sanjay Ghadvi and I liked the film. Aditya has never asked me for 'Dhoom'," Shah Rukh told IANS.

While the production house has not yet replied to Shah Rukh's wish to star in the next instalment, rumours have also been doing the rounds that Salman is likely to play the villain in "Dhoom 4".

The first part of "Dhoom" came in 2004 and since then the series with powerful motorbikes and death-defying stunts has been popular among the viewers.

So far, John Abraham, Hrithik Roshan and Aamir Khan have played the negative, yet the lead role, in the "Dhoom" franchise.

Currently, the king of Bollywood is busy shooting for another Yash Raj project "Fan". Directed by Maneesh Sharma, "Fan" is supposedly based on the story of a fan, whose only wish is to meet the star he idolised for long.

Meanwhile, the "Chennai Express" star is riding high with the success of his recently released film "Happy New Year". The film, starring Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood and Vivaan Shah, is minting huge money at the box office.
