Shah Rukh Khan's youngest son AbRam Khan is making his Bollywood debut with "Happy New Year" but he will not feature alongside Deepika Padukone.
During the opening ceremony of the 16th Mumbai Film Festival, Deepika was asked about AbRam's role in the grand Diwali release "Happy New Year". The leggy lass did not reveal it but stated that the one-year-old is not her co-star in the film.
"Shah Rukh Khan will give you the details about AbRam's role in the movie. I don't know anything about it. He is not my co-star in the movie, so Shah Rukh will give all the information about it," Deepika told reporters, when asked about AbRam's role.
The news of SRK's wife Gauri Khan and son AbRam acting in "Happy New Year" was revealed this week. Gauri, in an interview, said that they are doing a cameo in the Farah Khan directorial.
"Yes, in fact both AbRam and I will be seen in the film. It was a very spontaneous decision. I was going for my shot when Farah and Shah Rukh asked me to bring AbRam along. So I went ahead. Even Aryan has done a movie appearance when he was two-and-a-half-years old," Gauri told Hindustan Times.
"Happy New Year" is a heist drama, which is set for a grand release this Diwali. The film, touted as the longest film of 2014, features Shah Rukh, Deepika, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood, Vivaan Shah and Jackie Shroff.
Farah has also cast prominent Bollywood actors and other veterans in guest roles. Anupam Kher, Anurag Kashyap, Vishal Dadlani, Sajid Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Dino Morea among others will do cameos in the film.
