Popular Indian cartoon character "Chhota Bheem" is all set to get a new look in an upcoming animation movie. After "Curse of Damyaan" and "Throne of Bali", Chhota Bheem will be seen in "Himalayan Adventure", in which the strong kid will be fully clothed unlike the previous instalments.
Chhota Bheem's upcoming animated movie "Himalayan Adventure" will reportedly be screened in around 500 screens across the country. The 100 minute movie has been made on a budget of Rs 6 crore (approx) and will be released on 8 January.
"We have taken a lot of care to design his gear specially because it is set in the Himalayas also because the biting cold of the winter demands wollen gear. While the snow-clad settings are a photographer's delight, it became a challenge for us to recreate the same background using 2 and 3 dimensional imaging technology and a lot of computer graphics," The Hindu quoted Founder and CEO of Gold Animation, Rajiv Shukla as saying.
Chhota Bheem has become very popular among kids in India and Shah Rukh Khan's son AbRam Khan is also a big fan of the little Indian super-hero. Knowing this, Shukla had recently sent a life-sized soft toy of Chhota Bheem to SRK's residence, which made AbRam extremely happy.
Apart from the TV shows, Chhota Bheem is also available on Google Play store, as a game on the character is also gaining a lot of popularity. "The Chhota Bheem game on Google Play, released a fortnight ago, has already been downloaded by about 5 lakh people and is a record in the history of Indian animation," Shukla added.
