Shah Rukh Khan is making different choices lately and is collaborating with directors he hasn't worked with before. His as-yet-untitled project with Aanand L Rai is a love story, but will take time.
Talking to the Press Trust of India, the director revealed that he is still writing the script and that the project will take time to complete. The viewers have lost faith in the story tellers, which is why one must up their game to make better films, he reasoned.
"Well, I am working on the film. It is a love story. It is a very important film for me as a director and it will take little more time than what I was expecting and I am working on it," Aanand said.
After the scripting is over, the team will need to sit and discuss the VFX bit. Shah Rukh plays a dwarf in the film and is still recovering from a leg injury, which is why he will not be able to go down on his knees. Therefore, the film will depend heavily on computer wizardry.
"Aanand has a collection of ideas about what we have to do. If need be, we will figure out how to do it abroad and then bring it here. I have Imtiaz Ali and Aanand's film now. Films are difficult till you start them and then explore and find out how you are going to do what you have to do," DNA quoted the superstar as saying.
In other news, SRK has only one other release this year, which is "Dear Zindagi" ("Fan" opened in theatres on April 15).
