Shah Rukh Khan's "Fan" is surely going to be a unique project. Apart from the fact that it will see the superstar in a double role and a lot of never-before-seen VFX work in it, the ladies roped in for the Maneesh Sharma directorial makes for an interesting aspect.
After news of Waluscha De Sousa being pulled on board, a Bollywood Hungama report suggests veteran Marathi actor Sachin Pilgaonkar's daughter Shriya is the latest to join the cast. Apparently, a Yash Raj Films official said she doesn't get to play the lead but sure has a pivotal role adding that the details of her character will be kept a secret.
However, what further confirms the news of her presence in "Fan" is a coincidental tweet. "Beautiful gloomy rainy morning in Delhi ! But I guess not the best for an outdoor shoot," Shriya posted on 1 March, Sunday.
Shah Rukh and the crew have been in the national capital to finish off the schedule there, and he seems to be enjoying his stay quite a lot. "So much rain in Delhi....so many beautiful ppl around....& so much more to finish. A day full of much more & many experiences. Love Delhi," he tweeted.
In other news, the former supermodel had kick-started shooting with the superstar at a Mumbai studio, last week. "Waluscha took special training in acting for this film. She has already started shooting with Shah Rukh in south Mumbai and at an Andheri studio," Hindustan Times quoted a source.
However, what's striking about the cast is that they are all debutants of sorts. Although Waluscha has been in the glamour industry for long, this is her maiden turn with the big screen.
"I have Fan with YRF and Maneesh. There are two girls in the film. It is a film where I don't think you need a big lady star. It is a different film. It is one of the challenging films that I have done in 20 years," PTI quoted the "Happy New Year" star as saying.
