Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan is writhing in pain after he went under the knife last week due to an injury in his shoulder.
Shah Rukh, who was back on Twitter after a gap of over four months, mentioned about being in pain, via a funny tweet on 3 May.
"They say you learn from Pain. By that maxim & the nite that went by, i should be a Genius. Triple Nine Society here I come...!!" Shah Rukh tweeted.
A day after leaving the hospital Shah had posted, "Healing doesn't mean the damage never existed. It means the damage no longer controls your life."
The 47-year-old actor underwent a surgery on 28 May after sustaining a shoulder injury during the filming of an intense action sequence in his upcoming flick "Chennai Express". Shah Rukh had been holding back the much needed surgery due to his hectic schedules and the sixth season of Indian Premier League.
According to reports, Shah Rukh underwent surgery after Rohit Shetty, who is the director of "Chennai Express", assured him that the filming was complete. The film, which also stars Deepika Padukone, is set to hit the screens on 8 August and Shah Rukh did not wanted to delay the shooting any further.
Due to his surgery, Shah Rukh has postponed the filming of his next venture in Farah Khan's "Happy New Year".
As per reports, "Happy New Year" was to go on floors in June but Shah Rukh's surgery has forced the makers to delay the shoot by three months.
"The plan was to start the HNY shoot with a couple of schedules in Mumbai before flying off to Dubai in September for the subsequent ones. But since Shah Rukh will take about three months to recover completely, the Mumbai schedules have been cancelled. He will directly start shooting in Dubai," an insider told Hindustan Times.
