Bollywood filmmakers are currently quite interested in making biopics like "Sarbjit," "Mary Kom," "M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story" and an as-yet-untitled one on Sanjay Dutt's life. Bollywood Baadshah Shah Rukh Khan was recently asked about his biopic and he chose his own sons Aryan and AbRam to play the role.
"I think whichever director will want to make a film on me, will decide who he wants to cast. I can't be that self-obsessed that I go on deciding who should play me, though Aryan and AbRam could be the choices," SRK told the Press Trust of India.
However, he initially named Sachin Tendulkar jokingly, and then told PTI he doesn't think his life is interesting enough to be made into a movie. But given SRK's fan following, people would love to see a biopic on the superstar's life. And, it will be a treat if his own kids portray him in it.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh will be seen in his upcoming film "Fan," which is scheduled to be released on April 15. According to the actor, he is his kids' fan and AbRam is also his fan.
"The kind of unconditional love a fan has for his or her star, I have that for my kids. So, that way, I am a fan of my children, though I feel fans' love tend to become obsessive at times and I want to tell the youth to not harm themselves in the process of loving someone... But I feel the selfless, one-sided love that the fans have, I harbour for my kids," SRK told PTI.
"I think because of my antics and behaving stupidly and playing a lot at home, AbRam likes me a little more. I could be presumptuous though. There's his mother, two siblings and my sister but I have a feeling that he is inclined a little more towards me," he added.
The "Raees" actor will be seen in double role in the Maneesh Sharma directorial. Produced by Yash Raj Films, "Fan" also features Waluscha de Sousa, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Deepika Amin and Yogendra Tiku in pivotal roles.
