Superstar Shah Rukh Khan will shoot action scenes in international locations for the upcoming Maneesh Sharma directorial "Fan".
Khan is expected to do some massive stunts in "Fan" which will be shot in extensively in European countries like Croatia, Scotland and Netherlands, reported Hindustan Times.
The decision spurs from Khan's intention to shoot in locations which are yet to be explored by Bollywood filmmakers.
"Since SRK will be seen doing some high-octane action sequences, he wants to make it a special treat for audiences. That's why he is keen to shoot the film at a location that is largely untapped by Bollywood films," the daily quoted an insider.
Director Sharma, who is working out the details of the project along with producer Aditya Chopra, is expected to visit places like Zagreb, Hvar and Dubrovnik in Croatia, Amsterdam in the Netherlands and Edinburgh in Scotland to zero in on the perfect location for the shoot.
"Now the team just needs to identify the places to shoot, while keeping the safety of the actors and crew in mind," the insider added.
Khan's sudden decision to shoot action scenes in exotic European locations comes as no surprise, especially since rival Salman Khan is shooting action packed climax sequences of his upcoming film "Kick" in Warsaw, Poland.
The "Dabangg" star has even praised the city of Warsaw and spoke about the technical advantages of shooting in the Polish capital.
Meanwhile, even Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif starrer "Bang Bang" is also set to shoot heavyweight action scenes in Abu Dhabi, which would be choreographed by Hollywood stunt director Andy Armstrong.
