Bollywood Baadshah Shah Rukh Khan is all set to entertain his audience with his upcoming Rohit Shetty film "Dilwale" this December.
The highlight of the film is that it is bringing back the evergreen on-screen pair of SRK and Kajol together after five years.
There has been news that "Dilwale" will re-create the magic of the classic "Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge" (DDLJ). However, when SRK was asked the same question, he said that he does not think it will repeat the magic. "I don't think (so), as time has changed," the 49-year-old actor told IANS.
"When we started the film (DDLJ) in 1990S, there was this concept of golden jubilee, silver jubilee and platinum jubilee. Now the function has changed and that era is over. I think audience is more accessible now and also the number of theatres are more. Unfortunately, nowadays we talk about two weeks only," he further said.
He also said that there have been better films than "DDLJ" that has been made and will be made in future.
"There are better films that were made and will be made than DDLJ. Yes, realistically and practically speaking, maybe there won't be any films that will run for 20 years now because of strong digital world, but it's not that there will be no films better than DDLJ," SRK told IANS.
Apart from talking about his films, he also revealed about his birthday plans, which is on 2 November. He will be celebrating his 50th birthday which calls for a big celebration, but the "Chennai Express" actor said he has plans for a "quiet" special day with his family.
"I will have a quiet birthday. I will go back to Mumbai on November 1 to meet my children, because the next day I have to be in Goa for a shooting," IANS quoted SRK as saying.
Currently, SRK and his "Dilwale" team are in Hyderabad to shoot their last schedule.
The Rohit Shetty directorial also features Kajol, Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, Johnny Lever and Varun Sharma in pivotal roles.
