Bollywood's iconic couple Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol is set to recreate their magic of "Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge" in Rohit Shetty's film "Dilwale".
While lead pair SRK and Kajol will begin shooting for the film in June, the director has already begun filming the first schedule with the other cast members, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon.
But it looks like Shah Rukh can't wait till June to join the team of "Dilwale".
The "Chennai Express" star recently wrapped up the shooting for his movie "Fan" and is set to film a few scenes for Rahul Dholakia's "Raees". However, amid the busy schedule, the actor took some time off to pay his "Dilwale" team a surprise visit on the sets.
Shah Rukh, who was in Goa on Tuesday, to attend Sachiin Joshi's Planet Hollywood Beach Resort, met his "Dilwale" team that is shooting in the exotic state.
"Goa return. Met Dilwale team. Great job done by Gauri, Bhavna & Nandi at Planet Hollywood. Well done! Now Namaaz for my moms death anniv," SRK tweeted.
"Dilwale" has been making news ever since Shah Rukh and Rohit teamed up after the record-breaking success of "Chennai Express" that crossed ₹100 crore in just four days of its release.
Initially, there were rumours that "Dilwale" is a remake of classic Hindi film "Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi". However, the "Golmaal" series director later rubbished the remake rumours.
Not just that, SRK also revealed that the script is original. "Sajid Farhad came to me with the script during Chennai Express itself. They had already planned this film and were also writing a sequel to Chennai Express. I asked them to choose. I told them, 'You guys decide which one you want to do first' because both the films are really funny films," SRK had earlier told DNA.
Also featuring Johnny Lever and Sanjay Mishra, "Dilwale" is slated to be released on 18 December 2015.
