Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone make for a hit onscreen pair, and so filmmakers would quite naturally want to cash in on their incredible chemistry.
After reports of SRK showing interest in "Tanu Weds Manu Returns" director Anand L Rai's next project surfaced, sources now say Deepika is being considered for one of his upcoming films.
So, does this mean the superstar is all set to romance this leading lady again? Only time will tell.
Meanwhile, a Bollywood Life insider reveals Rai wants to change things a bit and so, Kangana has been taken off the picture.
"Aanand L Rai is planning to cast Deepika Padukone in his next. He doesn't want to work with Kangana for his next again, he wants to change things a bit and that's why he wants to cast Deepika," the source further elaborated.
In other news, Padukone is also being considered for a Yash Raj Film and Aditya Chopra has asked some of his bests to come up with a script, which would fit the actress' bill perfectly.
"Before leaving for her London vacation, she met Aditya and following a discussion, he has got his team to work on the script. In a close door meeting, Aditya has asked them to pen a script just for Deepika," Mid Day quoted a source as saying.
Meanwhile, SRK is busy shooting high-octane action scenes for Rohit Shetty's "Dilwale" in Bulgaria. His "Fan" and "Raees" are set to release next year in April and on Eid, respectively.
