Shah Rukh Khan and Aditya Chopra have together delivered blockbusters, one of which ("Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge") has gone on to become the longest running film in the history of Indian cinema. The successful actor-director duo is returning for another project.
Spilling the beans on the collaboration, SRK said it is a "very big project" and he begins working on it in the later part of 2017. Aditya has apparently told him that it will take two months for them to prepare for the role.
"He told me that the shooting will be wrapped up in three months, but I will have to work with him on characters for two months prior to shooting for the film. I have no idea what he is making, but he has just asked me to keep my dates free next year. He has been planning one film with me after 'Befikre'," he told Catch News.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh has two film ready for release this year — "Fan" and "Raees" — and he begins Aanand L Rai and Imtiaz Ali's projects next.
From what has been reported so far, Imtiaz's yet-to-be titled project follows a turbaned Sikh tourist in the U.K. and his many misadventures in the country. Rumours have it, Anushka Sharma has been roped in opposite Shah Rukh.
Aanand's film is about a "little person," but that isn't the only stand-out aspect of the film, it features a romantic angle too. "You have to come down to the main story and that's what I am fighting for. I hope I am able to write as good a film as I would like to see on screen. I am in the exploring phase right now," scriptwriter Himanshu Sharma told Bollywood Hungama.
