Shah Rukh Khan has revealed an interesting tidbit about how he used to fool wife Gauri Khan's family and talk to her before their marriage. SRK said the only medium of talking during their dating days was landline phones, and he used to fool Gauri's brother by talking in a girlish voice.
Shah Rukh will be seen in the first episode of Kapil Sharma's new show, "The Kapil Sharma Show." It is in this recently-shot episode that the "Fan" actor revealed this talked about how difficult it was to contact his lady love.
"Unlike today, when we have mobile phones, there were only landline telephones during our time. So, whenever I wanted to talk to Gauri, I would speak in a girlish voice as her brother Vikrant used to pick up the phone. So, I used to say 'Hello, can I speak to Gauri?' in a girlish voice and he used to think I was her female friend. Even today he doesn't know it was me who used to call. But he will get to know that after watching this episode," IANS quoted Shah Rukh as saying.
Shah Rukh and Gauri had tied the knot in 1991, and have three children — Aryan, Suhana and AbRam.
Kapil's brand new show will be aired every Saturday at 9 p.m. April 23 onwards on Sony Television.
Shah Rukh will soon be seen in the movie "Fan," which will present him in double roles. Apart from "Fan," SRK will also be seen in another much-awaited flick, "Raees." Directed by Rahul Dholakia, "Raees" is the story of a bootlegger, played by Shah Rukh, and will also feature Nawazuddin Siddiqui and debutant Mahira Khan.
