Several new projects of Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan are planned for this year. The audience is eagerly waiting for the release of his movies like "Raees" and "Fan". SRK will also be working with "English Vinglish" director Gauri Shinde along with Alia Bhatt as his co-star.
SRK will reportedly share screen space with Alia for a short period of time. It is said that he is not the lead actor of the film. It was earlier reported that the film had been shelved due to some creative differences between Gauri and Karan Johar, who is the producer of the film. But now, it will go on floors this month.
Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, Dharma Productions and Hope Productions, it looks like Gauri has planned to make this film similar to "English Vinglish", where the story revolved around one woman (played by Sridevi). In this flick, the story is about a young girl who meets three men and with every relationship her perspective about life changes.
However, Shah Rukh revealed that he will be playing an important part and will be romancing Alia in the film. "I Iike working with women, so I am doing Gauri Shinde's film with Alia Bhatt as my co-star. That is not a typical love story or a hero role but I find Gauri's filmmaking interesting. I may have a lesser part to be not in terms of timing on screen but as a lover but it's an interesting role," Pinkvilla quoted SRK as saying.
Alia is flying high since the big announcement of her working with the "Dilwale" actor and filmmaker Gauri has been made."Will no longer have any problem with my English Vinglish.. can't wait to be directed by Gauri Shinde with the man himself Shahrukh Khan!!! (sic)" Alia tweeted.
Meanwhile, the "Shaandaar" actress will next be seen in Dharma Productions' "Kapoor and Sons" alongside Sidharth Malhotra and Fawad Khan and also in "Udta Punjab" opposite Shahid Kapoor. Alia has also signed KJo's "Shuddhi", which will have Varun Dhawan as her co-star.
On the other hand, Shah Rukh is soon to complete the shooting of "Fan", which will be released on 15 April. It is about a 25-year-old fan and a 45-year-old superstar. Even in "Raees", the actor will don a different look and the story also seems to be promising unlike his latest releases. "Raees" will clash with Salman Khan's "Sultan" during Eid this year.
