After Shah Rukh Khan and Varun Dhawan, Bollywood is set to witness another exciting combination. Aditya Chopra's two favourite actors, Ranveer Singh and Shah Rukh, will reportedly team up for his next production venture.
Ranveer, who made his debut with a Yash Raj Films' project, recently wrapped up the shooting of Aditya's directorial venture, "Befikre," and will reunite with the filmmaker for another film starring Shah Rukh, according to reports.
Rumours of Shah Rukh doing a warrior film with Aditya were doing the rounds, but this one will be a romantic story and feature a younger hero, just like "Dilwale." The movie, starring SRK and Ranveer, will be directed by Shimit Amin, DNA reported.
Reports of Ranveer and Shah Rukh coming together for a film have been going on since the beginning of the year. Even when he was asked about doing a film with Shah Rukh, Ranveer had neither confirmed nor denied the reports.
"Adi (Aditya Chopra) called you up and said that our next film is with Shah Rukh Khan and Ranveer. Nothing is finalised or formalised yet on whatever projects I am in discussions with," Ranveer told reporters in April, adding: "As of now, I am doing 'Befikre' and I am very excited about it."
But now, it looks like fans will finally see Aditya's blue-eyed boys coming together on silver screen. While it is certainly good news, we will have to wait for an official confirmation regarding the same.
Meanwhile, Ranveer is reportedly said to have signed Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next, "Padmavati," which also stars Deepika Padukone. On the other hand, Shah Rukh has some big movies lined up, including Imtiaz Ali's next, Aanand L Rai's directorial project and Aditya Chopra's upcoming film to be directed by him.
