Man-of-the-moment Shah Rukh Khan might be busy celebrating the success of latest release "Happy New Year", but he sure knows how to fulfill his professional commitments.
Not very long ago, when the entire team of "HNY" – Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Farah Khan, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood, and Vivaan Shah – was in the United States of America to promote their dance heist film, the superstar reportedly flew to Los Angeles to finish a 3D face scanning required for his next film "Fan".
Confirming the news, Kay Arutyunyan, Producer at CounterPunch Studios in LA said King Khan was at the studio to get a "high fidelity face scanning" done, adding that their studio has catered to a few other Bollywood films.
"Mr. Khan's professional mannerism, personal approach to all crew members, and skilled facial acting talents were incredible. He was extremely personable and easy to direct through the process. He has a curiosity for technology and groundbreaking processes, and was very hands on during the shoot. It is clear that he takes his craft very seriously and works rigorously to perfect it for each and every film," DNA quoted Arutyunyan.
Khan, who calls Maneesh Sharma's "Fan" a "cozy, intense and commercially viable film" revealed that he instantly said yes to the script when first heard it.
"As an actor, I feel that having done a big film, Happy New Year, I wanted to do a cozy film which is intense and yet commercially viable. Maneesh came out of the blue and he reminded me of a subject he had narrated eight years ago. I was sitting with Adi (Aditya Chopra) and instantly agreed because I was in a happy state of mind, " IANS quoted the actor.
Additionally, the superstar's next release will see him in a completely different avatar and so Academy Award-winning makeup artist Greg Cannom has been working on his look.
