Filmmaker Aanand L Rai has denied reports that Shah Rukh Khan will next be seen in one of his upcoming films.
The "Tanu Weds Manu Returns" director has reportedly released a statement in which he says that he is currently working on the script and that nothing has been finalised as far as the film's cast is concerned.
A report in Pinkvilla quoted Rai as saying: "I'm really amused by the rumours, since people seem to know more about my film than I do. I'm still working on the script and funnily enough, several have already started speculating about the cast and the title. I request people to stop jumping to conclusions and allow me to make an official announcement on the film, which we will make as soon as we finalize all the details."
Earlier, Salman Khan was also linked to Rai's upcoming project and reports suggested that the actor had to back out from the untitled film due to time constraints and hence the fimmaker approached Shah Rukh when the latter accepted the offer.
Although, no official announcement has been made on the upcoming film, reports say that the said project will present the lead actor in the role of a dwarf.
