AR Murugadoss may have just started working on his Bollywood movie "Akira", but his next film has already been generating a lot of curiosity as a few big names have been linked to it.
After Ajith and Rajinikanth, it is Shah Rukh Khan's name that has started doing the rounds now. The star is likely to play the lead role in his film and if these rumours turn out to be true, this will be the first time that the duo will be teaming up.
Shah Rukh Khan has no qualms in working with South directors. He has always been open about it and has said that he would love to team up with especially Kollywood filmmakers including AR Murugadoss. When the actor was in Chennai to promote his "Ra.One" a few years ago, King Khan had claimed that he was willing to work with Murugadoss.
The Bollywood star is not interested in doing remakes like his counterpart Salman Khan and instead wants to be part of an original story. Shah Rukh had told the same to the Tamil director, who seems to be ready to work with him finally.
It may be recalled that earlier Shah Rukh's name was doing rounds for the remake of "Ramanna". It was said that AR Murugadoss would join hands with him for the remake. However, the rimours turned out to be just rumours and the film titled "Gabbar" is now being made with Akshay Kumar and Shruti Haasan in the leads.
However, AR Murugadoss has not confirmed anything about his next project. Recently, producer Aascar Ravichandran had met Rajinikanth and discussed about a project. Later, it was said that AR Murugadoss was going to helm the project. Now, reports say that the talks are in initial stages.
Prior to this report, it was claimed that Ajith and AR Murugadoss were coming together again after their hit film "Dheena".
While AR Murugadoss is presently busy with "Akira" starring Sonakshi Sinha, Shah Rukh is busy with "Fan" directed by Maneesh Sharma.
