Shah Rukh Khan's fans sure can't wait for their favourite star's film to hit screens, but the actor, without doubt, appears more thrilled about one of his upcoming releases.
Rohit Shetty's "Dilwale" should be watched for various reasons. First, it reunites Bollywood's iconic pair Kajol-SRK after five long years. Second, it will see the young and spirited Varun Dhawan play younger brother to the "Happy New Year" star, and third, it's spearheaded by the winning combo of Rohit and Shah Rukh, who together delivered "Chennai Express".
And now, there's one more reason to look forward to it. SRK posted an on-set clip, a teaser of sorts, to "Dilwale" which features a car drifting away in full glory.
"The Dilwale Drift. Rohit starts on the road to Christmas...can't wait to join soon," SRK tweeted.
"It is very exciting to be back with Kajol. I haven't had the time to thank her for being a part of the film. We will hopefully start the film in June. It is good to work with Rohit," PTI quoted SRK as saying who later added that he hopes to recreate "DDLJ" magic with her 'closest friend'.
Scheduled for a Christmas release, this action-comedy stars Kriti Sanon, Varun Sharma, Sanjay Mishra, and Johnny Lever among others.
Meanwhile, SRK wrapped up Maneesh Sharma's "Fan" recently and was on a break until a few days ago when he began with Rahul Dholakia's "Raees".
"Fan is a very different story. I am not sure how much I can divulge. I have finished it. It is very interesting. I think it has an amazing teaching. It shows us that somewhere down the line, to achieve what you have accomplished in life you need to find your own identity," SRK elaborated.
