It's been a while since Bollywood's most iconic onscreen couple, Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, shared screen space.
However, the two will next be seen in Rohit Shetty's next venture "Dilwale". While the news was thrilling, fans were eagerly waiting for any information on the team kickstarting the shooting for "Dilwale".
"It is very exciting to be back with Kajol. I haven't had the time to thank her to be a part of the film. We will start the film in June hopefully," Khan told PTI adding he hopes to create magic on silver screen with her.
The makers have begun with the rom-com's first schedule. Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon have commenced shooting and have been posting pictures from the sets as well. Set to release this Christmas, the film also features Johnny Lever and Sanjay Mishra, Shetty's regulars.
The superstar further elaborated that on the Maneesh Sharma directorial, he said it's a different film and both cast and crew members have worked tirelessly and endlessly.
"Fan is a very different story. I am not sure how much I can divulge. I have finished it. It is very interesting. I think it has an amazing teaching. It teaches us that somewhere down the line to achieve what you have achieved in life you need to find your own identity," he pointed out.
"Fan", which was earlier slated for an I-Day weekend release, has now been pushed for a later date as heavy-duty VFX work is required to be finished. Karan Johar's "Brothers", starring Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra, will now release on the date earlier scheduled for the SRK-starrer.
In other news, the superstar will begin with Rahul Dholakia's "Raees" in a week's time.
