Bollywood damsel Deepika Padukone, who shared screen space with Shah Rukh Khan in "Chennai Express", said that the actor is still very caring and protective about her.
When asked at the music launch of "Chennai Express" about her experience of working with Shah Rukh for the second time after her debut venture with him, Deepika said, "It was an amazing experience to work with SRK. He hasn't changed."
"He is the same person I worked with and he is caring and protective about me."
Shah Rukh and Deepika reunited after a gap of six years for Rohit Shetty directorial, "Chennai Express". The duo had last worked together in Farah Khan's "Om Shanti Om" which was released in 2007.
Earlier, during the trailer launch of "Chennai Express", Shah Rukh had claimed that he felt protective of her and appreciated her for the hard work she has put in to her movies.
"I feel gentle towards her... I feel protective for her. It was special working with her again," Shah Rukh told Press Trust of India.
"I love the fact that she started her career with me. She is a fantastic actor and has grown with every film. Her last few films have been hit and I am really happy with her success. I feel nice that her work is appreciated," added SRK.
"Chennai Express", which falls into action-comedy genre, is set to hit the screens on 8 August. The movie is Shah Rukh's first release of the year. Deepika's previous releases of 2013 - "Race 2" and "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani" made it to the ₹100 crore mark within days of its release. Her upcoming releases include Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Ram Leela" and Rajinikanth starrer "Kochadaiyaan".
