Shah Rukh Khan Gifts Farah Khan a Mercedes. [Twitter/FarahKhan]

Bollywood King Khan, Shah Rukh, is known for giving expensive gifts to friends and colleagues. The actor recently gifted "Happy New Year" director Farah Khan a brand new Mercedes as a token of their friendship.

Farah Khan has been using Shah Rukh's Volkswagen after her car was left damaged when she met with an accident.

The black, top-class Merc came as a big surprise to her as she was planning to buy her own car. Previously also SRK has gifted the director two cars, but it was after finishing the shooting of the film "Main Hoon Na" and "Om Shanti Om".

"Shah Rukh called me at his office and said he wanted to show me something. He usually gifts me things when we wrap up a shoot, but "Happy New Year" is far from over. We'll be shooting till June. So I did not seen this gift coming," Khan told The Times of India.

"Yes, Shah Rukh took me for a drive from his office to Linking Road. That's the best we could manage in the little time we had. It was a lot of fun," she added.

This is not the first time SRK has given an expensive gift to his friends. Earlier in February, the actor gifted his "Happy New Year" co-star Abhishek Bachchan a Harley Davidson worth approximately  INR12.5 lakh. The present was delivered to his residence in Juhu, Mumbai.  

"@iamsrk: They say on a cycle the passenger is the engine....so is true in life.- unless it's a HARLEY!!!!! THANK YOU for the coolest present," Bachchan tweeted after receiving the gift.
