Shah Rukh Khan said he isn't sure which of the directors — Aanand L Rai and Imtiaz Ali — he will work with first this year, but sources have a different story to tell. Rumour has it that he will take up the "Tamasha" director's film first as he is done with the story.
"Imtiaz's script is all ready and is just waiting to go on the floors, while Aanand's script is still being worked on. So it seems logical that SRK chooses to do Imtiaz's film first," Mid-Day quoted an insider as saying.
Interestingly, in one of his elaborate interviews with DNA, he appeared not so sure about which films he will be taking up.
Imtiaz's film has been in the news for its interesting premise — its central character will play a turbaned tourist and the focus will be on his many adventures — but the actor has rubbished reports saying he won't be seen essaying a Sikh in the film.
"We are actually just on the cusp of finalising the whole film. I think, in another month's time, we will announce it. Imtiaz is getting the technical team ready. He is deciding who has to do what first, apart from the stars. He's casting the whole film and the technicians. So in another 10-15 days, we will make the announcement. Abhi toh title bhi nahi film ka!," he told the daily.
Meanwhile, there have been reports that the film may be shot in Budapest, July onwards. Imtiaz will set out on a recce on May 25, Hindustan Times ((April 25, Mumbai) reported.
In other news, the basic idea of Aanand's film is ready and Shah Rukh will play a "little person" in it.
