It's no surprise when Shah Rukh Khan, who is one of the world's richest actors, makes it to the Forbes' list of World's 100 Highest-Paid Celebrities.
What's interesting is, even with earnings of 33 million USD (approximately Rs. 221.6 crore) last year, the superstar is at number 86, sharing the slot with "Iron Man" franchise actor Robert Downey Jr, basketball star James Harden and American rock group Dave Mathews Band.
Akshay Kumar is running eight nods behind, with earnings of 31.5 million USD (Rs. 211.5 crore approx.). The "Rustom" actor is at position 94, along with Hollywood star Brad Pitt and American magicians Penn & Teller.
In another news, Shah Rukh has just one release lined up this year – Gauri Shinde's next with Alia Bhatt – which means he may not earn much from his movies. But the star is known for landing impressive endorsement deals.
Akshay has "Rustom" scheduled for release, which from the looks of it, seems a promising film and may shine at the box office. He has committed himself to a few more projects, but none of those is scheduled for a 2016 release.
